01Overview

Exporters — whether generating B2B inquiries or selling direct to consumers — need a store built for overseas buyers: a showcase for products and capabilities, a landing page for ads and social traffic, and a way to own customer data instead of depending on one marketplace.

Platform choice comes first. Shopify suits fast-starting B2C retail with a mature app ecosystem; WooCommerce on WordPress offers content and SEO flexibility for inquiry-led sites; a custom build fits unusual workflows or deep integration with systems back home. With a background in Shopify and WordPress work, we recommend based on your category, markets and team.

We then handle international payments and shipping, languages and currencies, technical SEO for Google, performance, and GDPR and cookie-consent requirements.

02Who it is for

B2B manufacturers and traders

Inquiry-driven; need strong product presentation, inquiry forms and lead management alongside Google and trade shows.

DTC brands going abroad

Selling direct to overseas consumers; need smooth checkout, local payments, tracking and ad conversion measurement.

Marketplace sellers moving off-platform

Selling on Amazon or similar and want an owned channel to reduce platform risk.

Companies rebuilding an existing store

Slow, cluttered, plugin-conflicted or badly localized sites that need migration or a rebuild.

03Core modules

01

Platform choice and theming

02

03

International payments

04

Shipping and tax

Rates by country and weight, tracking integration, and VAT and duties display for the EU, UK and other regions.

05

Languages and currencies

Per-market language folders and hreflang, with Shopify Markets or multi-currency tools for local pricing.

06

Technical SEO for Google

Clean URLs, structured data, sitemaps, Search Console, Core Web Vitals and 301 redirects when migrating.

07

GDPR and privacy

Granular cookie consent, privacy policy and data-deletion workflow, with tags loaded according to consent.

08

Conversion tracking

08FAQ

Shopify or WooCommerce?

Shopify is hosted and has polished checkout — good for fast B2C starts, with monthly and some transaction fees. WooCommerce is self-hosted and flexible, suited to content-heavy, inquiry-led sites, but you manage hosting, security and updates.

Do we need an ICP filing?

Not if the site is hosted outside mainland China, which is typical for sites serving overseas buyers. Mainland hosting always requires filing.

Can you guarantee Google rankings?

No one should. We get the technical foundations right; rankings also depend on content, links and competition, and usually take months of sustained work.

Will migration hurt our existing traffic?

There is always some risk. We map every old URL to a 301 redirect, preserve titles and structured data, and monitor indexing in Search Console after launch.
